1st char:
Orc / Hunter (easy and cheap to level, skinning/mining for 1st mount gold)

2nd char:
Undead / shadow priest (I haven't played it vanilla period, want to play bg's, tons of bg's)

Twinks:
many, many, many...

Not sure yet, but definitely will be playing.

Just try to do the Azuremist Isle quests in the current WoW to try to get some epics for your toon and you`ll never want to try Classic WoW EVER! :p There are mobs everywhere and you cant get rid of "combat" for hours... And every single quest makes you run from point A to point B (which is 534532234 miles away) for 5325325 times and you must avoid the mobs in your way 53453245435 times. Classic is annoying shit... You will buy it and then abandon it in a few days , IMO :p

They said it comes with the standard WoW subscription :)
Why you`ll even try it? There is no armory, no futute track of your achievements and stats. Its a waste of time, IMO.

But you still have to buy it and give Blizz some money :)
What is the point of starting from scratch with Classic? There is no Armory to track your game progress or anything. There is no diff if you play Classic WoW in a private server with good population or in this new Blizz shit. No Armory = No track = No evidence you ever played that game.

How do you know that they won't add an armory for classic? You seem to be a debby downer, that's for sure.

Probably druid, possibly warrior.

Druid > War > Sham is my current reasoning for maining, but I'm a bit torn.

Vanilla (and BC) didn't have achievements, anyway. So are you saying Vanilla and BC were both not good based on not having achievements?

As far as giving Blizz money, you're damned with that no matter what you do unless you only play F2P. And even the majority of the F2P community also has vet/p2p accounts in addition to our F2P accounts.

No difference in private server or this? Entirely false. Those are subject to being removed at any time, and frequently have issues with stability and bugs. Granted, Vanilla itself had a lot of bugs...Different ones. ;)

I would be very surprised if Classic doesn't get an armory and full spot on Battle.net.

Also, it's kind of silly and rude to come into the Classic sub forum and bash people for choosing to play Classic. If you don't want to play it, then by all means...Don't. But please don't just barge in here and spout off how you think it's crap, and won't be playing it. Because that's completely pointless and baiting.

Oh, I'm well aware.

:p

Druid and Warr are like the hardest classes to level imo. And sham is kinda annoying with all the reagents. Personally, if I were to come back, i'd probably play a mage (even though I played bal Druid in classic). But I don't think I'll be coming back, maybe I'll just watch some streams to see how it is

Warrior definitely was, but it was a ton of fun for raiding once you were geared and 60.

Sham was annoying with reagents, but if you look at some of the fun stuff like Enhance with Sulf and countless Windfury procs? Fun to be had.

I'll probably play a warrior. And not try to rush.

I started playing at the end of vanilla and was trying to rush to 60 before BC came out and in doing so, blew through or straight up missed a lot of content. Just gonna really take my time and smell the roses, so to speak. And then maybe find a casual guild and tank some of the higher end 5 man content for the occasional giggle.

I press Y to view my achievements/stats less than twice per month xD Kinda forget they even exist tbh... I sure won't miss it! :)

I mean people say the same about twinks, we invest hours and hours of time endless grinding thousands of gold and for... what? There's no endgame, no rated arena.
But here we are, playing twinks, wasting time.. but here's the catch, we enjoy it!
And so will the people who play classic.

The difficult leveling experience and the journey is what makes hitting cap much much more rewarding.

That's just it.

It's fun for us. Is it something all people enjoy? Nah...Not the majority, by far. I'd wager that the majority probably would get bored pretty fast, and think it's silly. Then again, you have some of us who've done this for years and years, and love every minuet of it.

Different strokes for different folks. I mean, I can't find any enjoyment in League of Legends...yet some play it for hours every day, and love it.

The amount of hours I put into League of Legends... good lord.. ARAM was my homeland for the longest time LOL.
