More Haste General Tips Needed

I mean honestly, I'm really not sure how much higher you can go considering you're already sitting at 33%. The only thing I could recommend is the 2 haste to neck enchant (it scales to 2 for 29s I'm pretty sure) instead of satyr but that doesn't hardly even seem worth it. Besides BG crate impatient gear, I don't think there's anything else.

Also as a side note, why Fireflash > Aurora? (Until you get impatient pieces anyways).

Cause its like 5% versatility, versus 15-20% crit... figured 5% vers is just pointless, rather have the burst even at 1.5x

Ahh okay, I mean the question here really is what are you willing to sacrifice to get that extra few points of haste? As far as I know there isn't a single str/haste shoulder enchant but there is an int/haste shoulder enchant (from therazane exalted) that gives 1 haste.

As far as the neck enchant I'm assuming that's out of the picture bc part of your haste stacking is to increase procs from satyr/crusader etc.

Have fun grinding "of the impatient" BG crate gear

1) any idea what the impatient actually gives? I know +11 for green pants, +12 for blue.

2) what do the boots/wrists give on single stats?

3) Also, can Dungeon Satchel gear drop single stat gear (for the gloves)?

Would be worth it, Crusader is all the matters IMO not strength stacking. I use 3 weapon swaps on this pile only because the haste allows for it, that is what does all the damage.

I might pick up the Aurora pieces as they show up... wont be able to get the other ring tho till next Oct Fest.

atleast +12 on chest, +6 on wrists, +12 on pants, +9 on boots, and i'd imagine axe gives +12 aswell
afaik dungeon satchel can only drop dual stat, might get a high haste roll though
also valentines event is up soon so you can get the +11 haste +5 vers neck (shard of pirouetting darkness)

Awesome. Necklace looks the same as the hook from BFD, but I assume that one is epic for swag?

Found a haste belt in some wetlands quest.

I think 36% is doable... would be easier if I could just dual wield... have some sort of jump into battle ability... awesome damaged based self healing... maybe an instant distance closer effect...

imo you’d want quickblade not haste at 29, unless ur doing this for fun and not to be serious, i’d go vers>crit, but like i said if you’re doing it for fun then good luck:)

IMO Rotation/Crusader swaps = Ret damage in 29s... not versatility or strength. I'm sure there are other opinions, but Ive been doing just fine.

I've been pulling 70-90k in BGs as a Ret with all haste... the rotation and multi crusader out damages verse/crit by quite a HUGE margin at least the way I play... nothing super, but its fun... and the pressure on healers is nuts with the rotation not being all jack ass with no haste (similar to Arms warrior just waiting for things to get off of CD) Nothing else really... its just glass cannon and I also die a lot... but again, 29s are not balanced and versatility does not save you from Geared Druids or Hunters using ammo regardless... would rather have more fun/be fast.

And also, going back from 33% haste to no haste makes the game feel like you went into a ****ing timewarp for old people.

Hook charm necklace from BFD has 10haste 5vers and 7stam but the valentines day event starts tomorrow anyway.

haste on ret is actually good with zeal, increases the crusader rate proc by a lot. Add wep swap to that, i have seen a few rets doing that and getting 700 templars non crit. personally i dont think you should go max haste leaving down stam and vers as ret lives in kite city. Also flash of light is fast asf boy.

It's more about the golden games where you have pocket heals. If I que solo I usually use a Hate/Versatility build (I just find that big clubber pile unfun - its slow and derpy and has an only slightly longer lifespan if you get targeted - plus you are still not soloing anything tier 1 regardless). An arcane mage that holy locks you then spams is going to kill you with 20% verse and 2400+ hp anyway, so meh.

The actual haste number is about 22% if you really want to be the best of the best Ret with honors... SABO on here has a great chart showing the breaks... the only thing that really got me interested in all haste.

If you have pocket heals tho there is no reason to not just go bonkers... the haste just puts it over the top by a huge margin, the rotation speed just gives you continuous damage non stop with a 1 second break every 8 or 9 attacks (not including lucky art of war)... once you get to 36% haste there is actually no pause in any rotation (my actual goal)... so if you have heals and just use a Saltwater/3 swap you just obliterate anybody... plus I *believe* you can get flash of light to .9 seconds actual (not tool tip)... which is cool and super useful in actual fights for off healing burst damage, plus its super annoying when you spam it at the start of BG.

Plus a ret can actually peel for a healer, unlike a warrior that just has "duh duh damage!"

It's more just about the goal than the result I suppose.

Right now where I'm at with 33%:
Base Crusader Strike is 6 seconds - i have it at 4.5
Base Blade of Justice is 11 seconds - I have it at 7.9
Base Judgement is 12 seconds - I have it at 9
Base Flash of Light is 1.5 seconds - I have it at 1.1

While those numbers don't look super impressive by themselves, it just comes together into the perfect storm of tier 2 trash.

In a gy farm of faceroll yeah maybe to top damage, but like on real games even with pocket heals any melee has trouble going in without a tanky set, just saying it as there are thing like starsurge, aimed shot, frag belt arcane mages, etc... i would say like 20% 15% vers for ret maybe idk with a stam enchants as you will be getting all the damage form crusaders and not from + 6 strength on gloves or that stuff.
My personal opinion of course.

Arcane is the only real crapper match up 1v1 in my opinion for Ret, since they can holy lock you and have the firepower to kill you with in that time frame. Even with Druid Burst, you can still heal though it and just use cover if you have a good versatility build... if you are just mid field in WSG like a buffoon, probably not... but again that is more like being in a dueling situation.

Aimed shot and Lol-Ammo and Starsurge can do 800+ ... 10% off of that number... or even 15% off if you go for broke... is not that impressive... the numbers are just broken at 29... versatility is not set up to mitigate that amount of damage. Taking 720 instead of 800 is not that impressive when its also just back to back surges/constant hunter damage... and then you also make a tanky build that just does ok damage that is not really going to hurt dps enough to compensate for the damage taken/damage dealt ratio. If you could stack to 20% mitigation in the 29s I think it would actually start to matter, there are just too many times where a versatility set seems like its just for dueling and not for killing things in a BG. It's nice that rogues and druids get an extra +22 versatility for no fucking reason what so ever... but you really gimp plate when you try to stack it.

Wargames I could see a good versa set being more useful as well... random alliance ques with the magical "white-missing gear slots" power team, does not always help you regardless of what you are wearing. And that is also why I don't get these warriors that just stack versatility for pugs... if you don't have heals you are dead... if you have pocket heals and just use a haste build you are going to do a lot more damage than the versatility build... 10s of thousands more.

And as you know playing druid.. if a warrior does not have pocket heals... do you care one single bit about them? no you don't... you just kite and blow their face off regardless of their build.

Taking back to back surges is different when they are 700 than when they are 800, forsue. And for warriors there are games that even with 3 twink heals you can barely charge in before getting melted even with a decent vers set, and i say it because in one of the only 29 wargames that have occured this xpac i was playing warrior and i couldn´t charge in without having leap to back up with 2900 stam 27% vers, and wargames are pretty much what a balanced bg output would look like.

So Haste>crit or crit>Haste for paladin i alredy stacked vers
[doublepost=1550219453,1550218088][/doublepost]And 1 more thing is a lvl 29 ret paladin willing to duel my tank i am on server silvermoon wanna see diffrence in strenght . So Will be logged in around 19u And Will wait at goldshire. Name : stamcrazy.
