Discontinued items/enchants

Hey everyone, new to the bracket. Played a lot of 29s back in Wrath on the Nightfall battle group as "Exploit" and "Special" (29 Hunter and 29 Warlock on Arygos alliance).

My question today is about gearing. I've extensively searched armories and keep coming across items I'm not sure are still available. "Cloak of Rot" is a good example. Some sites say it's still available through salvage in garrisons, others say unavailable. Also, 9 intellect, 5 vers. leg enchants on BoE gear seems prevelant, but all I see are leg armors that bind them.

If anyone has a list of items that arent possible anymore or arent actively dropped, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks for your time,
Sigh

I think u can still rely on 90% of wowhead entries for items that aren't available and/or aren't actively dropped , gotta check comments to make sure.
As of legion patch (7.0 ??) the salvage boxes were nerfed and don't drop rare items anymore, unless blizz changed it

To expand further, salvage boxes from before the nerf can contain items. But they now scale when opened, so all the items are level 60. So there was a time when opening old boxes could produce more, but there were no more boxes that had them being generated.

Anything from salvage only is no longer obtainable unless you find an unbound one.

Alright, definitely appreciate the salvage box info. Any info on the leg enchants? Not finding a leg enchant such as +int or +spell power that can go on BoE pants.

There are only str, agi, and stam leg enchants that can go on BoEs. Int/spellpower can go heirlooms only (without exploiting, as Kudzu mentions).
