EU+US Enhancement Shaman Armory links?

Hi seems resto and ele are great at 49 which must mean enhance isn't; so of course I want to play it; can anyone link well geared or BiS enhance shaman armories? (I don't see any in the armory thread -- so enhance must really suck at 49 haha). Pretty close to how the hunters are geared I presume?

Thats my shaman. Enhance hits like a truck with wraith scythes critting for 1k each and healing you for the same. Stormstrike crits are 1500 total for MH/OH attacks.

I think I'm gonna be going with double siphoning for weapon enchants cuz getting off a heal at 49 is damn near impossible.

Pro tip: turn yourself into a small skeleton with noggenfoggers and you get completely ignored in bg's lol!
[doublepost=1534349630,1534349529][/doublepost]Also, there might be some better boe greens or quest reward gear, but I'm not gonna go searching for an extra couple of stats. I do just fine as is

Holy toledo, welcome back Sock! Where are you making your 49? I'm sure a bunch of us old folk will be happy to help you with whatever you need. DM me if you like.

Also, if you're horde there's a couple quest reward weapons for you to get

There are 3 different 3.6 speed 1 handed maces and a single 3.0 speed 1 handed mace. 2 of the 3.6 speed maces are caster weapons and the other 3.6 and 3.0 maces are agility maces.

I personally don't use them because they don't generate enough maelstrom and they only make lava lash and stormstrike hit marginally harder. Also, the healing from wraith scythes is too valuable to give up.

This is my opinion and your mileage may vary lol
[doublepost=1534358693,1534358419][/doublepost]Also (lots of info I forget rattling around in my tired brain), stormstrike crits hit for total of 1500 without landslide and dancing steel buffs up. With double dancing steel and a landslide proc, you're looking at upwards of 2500 total.

All i run is a enh shammy and i love it if you talent right and get the right gear youre set. The only downfall i have is running out of mana if i try healing. Dont forget weapon chants too makes a difference.

Im missing pieces been working to much, but here is mine https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/khaz-modan/Equake

You are gracious poppa! I spent most of the weekend attending "Steamroll University" where Alliance warriors, rogues and hunters introduced me to various meta dynamics of the 49 bracket.

Is there a 49 horde community link? I haven't been in a competitive game yet -- the victories and losses have all been lop-sided. Still, I'm having fun learning where my keybinds should go and found myself more useful as a resto healer to my team in most situations than as DPS (which was also fun).

Thanks for saying hi Poppa! Anyone else who sees me in game toss me an emote or just T-bag my corpse :)

no don't do that I'll cry

I'm finishing off my shaman now, and this has me curious... I see you're running DSx2 on your weapons; are you swapping to a another weapon set with Landslide, as well? Also, it looks like LS gives 78 AP, where DS gives only 38. What's the rationale there? AFAIK, LSx2 stacks...

No I dont weapon swap, usually I don't really need to. 49s are so fast paced I haven't really found a situation that I needed to weapon swap. But yes, I have more weapons to swap to if needed. I don't know if it would be worth losing the damage and the healing from wraith scythes. I could farm up more wraith scythes, but when you start weapon swapping the same weapons the game freaks out. You'd actually have to have a macro for bag slot swaps I think.
[doublepost=1534876291,1534876220][/doublepost]Also I was gonna give leech a try when I finish up what I'm doing on my main.

I haven't really had time for low level stuff since BfA hit

Oh wow you're correct landslide does double proc

I actually have no idea why I thought it didn't. I honestly can't tell you why I thought that lol

I edited my first post so I don't accidentally spread false information. Thanks for finding that and correcting me!
[doublepost=1534885880,1534883807][/doublepost]Okay now that I went and did a little digging.

I think I thought landslide still had a 45 second internal cool down. It doesn't. They changed that when they implemented real procs per minute.

That being said, landslide will double proc. Landslide has a 1 real ppm.

Dancing steel will double proc and has a 2.3 real ppm. I think I went with dancing steel just for the almost 100% uptime.

Also I haven't tested any of this yet lol! My shaman was still relatively new when bfa dropped. It's all speculation.

Also need to try mongoose, ele force, siphoning, static agility.

I think we get 4.6% leech from double siphoning at lvl 49. This might be an interesting concept for enhance shaman since casting a heal without rank 2 healing surge is almost impossible at 49. This only equates to about 4.6k healing over the length of a bg if you do 100k damage. It's not a lot at all, but still worth looking into I think.
[doublepost=1534886102][/doublepost]Geez man.....also gale force needs to be looked into

Interesting. It might be worth running LS/DS, then? But yeah, the uptime of 2.3 PPM is pretty appealing...

It looks like Mongoose is something like this:
  • Although the supposed proc rate is approximately the same as Crusader (1 ppm), this enchant can proc multiple times in a row even on 2h weapons. It does not appear to have a hidden cooldown. The proc is most likely normalized to 1 ppm, but not strictly bound to it.
Since mongoose is inferior, numbers-wise, to LS, it's probably not worth running over LS or DS.

Could also do

DS/DS

Get double procs weapon swap to

LS/LS

This paired with static cling PvP talent might actually be the best way to handle disc priests with bombs and rambolts on cool down lol

Im still currently testing enchants and weaps too, when running ironfoe and the trinket that drops another attack ive been finding dual ele force im dropping people quick!

Im testing a few other chant setups with this and ill let you know!

That leech idea sounds interesting hmm.. Ill have to look into that
