BFA Enchants (19-59)

i tried pvp power cloak enchant on my 60 and i didnt see any difference?

I just logged on to my 49, swapped out with a cloak without the PvP power enchant but with similar stats, and saw a marked decrease in my self-healing numbers. PvP power is definitely still working at 49.

In case this explains it, PvP power works differently according to spec. I'm resto, so I see some advantage in my offensive spells, and the most with my heals. If I went enhance or ele, I would see no difference in my heals, and a definite difference in my offensive output. If you're testing PvP power by using heals when in a non-heal spec, that may explain why you're not seeing a difference.

Yeah that is true. I used smite as a disc priest and did not see a damage increase. Gonna try when i get home, thank you!

Guys how much does pvp power on cloak do for you? is it a 5% increase in dmg or healing or both?

Another question is the 3 Leech enchant how much is 3 leech at lvl 19? Thanks!

The spreadsheet has the % value you'll get in the box for Minor Power! It gives the full % damage increase for dps, the full % healing increase for healers, a little bit of extra healing for dps (around 1/2 that %) and no damage for healers.

Not sure about leech, probably not a ton but we'll see once it's available. That's a BFA enchant.

To correct myself -- enhance or ele would indeed see a slight difference in heals, just not as much as resto. It's resto that sees no difference in offensive spells.

@jackblood posted earlier (according to an inbox alert) asking to see a screenshot, and I don't know where that post went, but:

These are both healing surges on myself, a half-geared resto 39 shammy. Notice that even though the Caretaker's Cape in the upper example has worse overall stats for healing, I get stronger heals with that Cape, over the unenchanted Chain Link Towel below.

I hope this helps put your worries to rest!

Just if anyone is interested, I tested some Shield Spikes. I'm a big fan of Spikes for Prot Warriors. I ran Stockades with the following on my 20 and the results were :-

http://www.wowhead.com/item=23530/felsteel-shield-spike 1 - 3 (Ave 2)
http://www.wowhead.com/item=7967/mithril-shield-spike 9 - 13 (Ave 11)
http://www.wowhead.com/item=12645/thorium-shield-spike 12 - 20 (Ave 16)

I'm unsub'd and these are the only Spikes I have, so I'm not sure how the others compare.

I totally forgot about shield spikes! I'll pop notes in for those ones at least, but I don't really have a good setup to test them out further myself.

Kirise's words (not mine): He broke it down perfectly.

Movement speed bonuses cap at 110%, so while all bonuses stack, they don't go past 110%.

The Boar's speed and Tuskarr's Vitality enchants both give 8% movement speed, so they stack nicely with the 2% cloak enchant to reach the 10% cap. However, the cloak PvP power enchant is really strong for the lower and midbrackets. Therefore, you're better off using the Minor Speed enchant (which gives a full 10% movement speed), freeing the cloak for the PvP power enchant, even at the loss of the stamina offered by Boar's Speed/Tuskarr's Vitality.

PvP boots (e.g. the Defiler's Plate Greaves) also offer a 10% speed boost, but the stats loss compared to BiS boots for many classes in the lower and midbrackets don't make up for being able to use a different boot enchant.

For druids and shamans, the Minor Speed boot enchant stacks on top of animal forms, whereas all of the other sources of speed increase do not.

In a nutshell: Minor Speed gives you the 10% to reach your movement cap with the least amount of sacrifice to your other stats. Using other combinations of enchants and gear will cause a greater loss.

Pretty close, but slightly off.

All the boot enchants and AB boots give 10% speed, but only minor speed stacks with anything (class movement speed abilities and 2% cloak enchants). Boar's Speed, Tuskarr's Vitality, AB boots and all the other stat+move speed enchants will just give you +10% in your main/caster form. Minor speed stacks with stuff like ghostwolf, travel/cat form, sprint, nightstalker, body and soul, etc.

If you don't have any abilitiies like that or aren't worried about adding to them, you can use either the AB boots or a stat+speed enchant to get your 10%.

Are you sure on that? Both WoWhead and the in-game tooltips say that Boar's Speed and Tuskarr's Vitality give 8%, rather than 10%. I'm away from my gaming computer for the weekend, so I can't see what DejaCharacterStats says.

Welcome to boot enchants, where the speed is made up and the tooltips don't matter!

Yup, they all give 10% on their own, just double checked it to make sure. Funnily enough, minor speed is the only one where the description specifically says it doesn't stack with anything :p.

That WLIIA quote got me laughing. Well played! And thank you for checking the enchantments!
