Best trinkets for 29 twinks

I'm a bit curious what the best trinket combination is, and what alternatives we have. I'm not interessted in a specific class or spec - just in general!

Correct me if im wrong - The [Arena Grand Master] is perhaps the best combined with either [Defending Champion] or [Returning Champion]. For casters it would probably be x2 [Discerning Eye of the Breast]

What other options is out there? What are you guys using?

Melee's should be using the tentaltces aswell, great for substain damage with the versatility, together with a good burst every 1,5min-2min.

The heirloom pvp trinket is bis for just about everyone. Gives you double trink or trink + rentless.

Unfortunately the on-use agil trink from SM got nerfed by 75% along with all other dungeon / raid trinks.

Gnomish Shrink Ray and PvP trinket are the BiS trinkets imo, particularly if you are any type of physical damage class.

I really dont see how [Gnomish Shrink Ray] is supposed to be good. The effect is decent at most and there is nor primary or secondary stats on it

[Touch of the Void] is really not that strong. The 8 versa is really nice for e.g. a rogue, however the lack of stamina on it is bad.
Besides this - the tentacles doesnt deal 'that' much damage. I really think either [Defending Champion] or [Returning Champion] is much better

The effect of Gnomish Shrink Ray is decent at most!? At most it can give your entire party a +114 AP boost... That can completely turn the tide of a fight in your favor and then you can equip an alternative trinket after you use it...

Just the normal effect of reducing a single enemy's AP is immensely useful compared to a simple health boost or minor damage increase from other trinkets...

Please tell me how any other trinket has the ability to completely turn the tide of a close battle into your favor. Sure it can backfire in a bad way, and you will be forced onto the defensive at times (unless you outgear your adversaries), but I will contend that it is still the most useful/effective trinket in the bracket apart from the CC-breaker.

I'm not exactly sure how anything else is even considered close, but I am willing to hear more opinions on the matter.

I haven't used it at all, what are the odds like on the different effects? The backfire effect could straight up lose a fight for you too in some situations, so there's a decent argument for safer/consistent options.

I can't give exact numbers without doing rigorous testing and recording numbers.

From my uses of it, it generally has a higher chance to benefit you/your team rather than be a detriment. You should also realize before the enemy does that it has backfired negatively which can help you set up a defensive posture as a team to wait out the effect.

I understand being afraid to use it for its backfire potential, but I believe it will still pull you out of more tight spots than it puts you in... Particularly when a double/triple sader buffed fury warrior bears down on you or your healer.

Also, if I am facing a team stacked with 3 or more twinked Discipline Priests I guarantee I will be firing this puppy off first chance I get in the hopes of a +114 AP buff for my team. If you're facing a losing fight, it can give you a chance to fight back. What other trinket can give you that kind of chance?

Yup, definitely wasn't expecting exact numbers - just what you generally noticed from playing with it! Will have to try it out for sure.

It doesn't work on priests as far as i know; they gain ability power from intellect and not attack power.
How can this item give your whole team a +114 AP buff? I cant see how. Please explain

Shrink Ray has a small chance to create an effect that is different than what is listed on the item itself. Some of those effects are negative, such as buffing the Attack Power of your enemy or reducing your own Attack Power. Some of the effects are positive, such as buffing your Attack Power. The crazy thing is that this backfire effect can include entire parties into it, which would basically be a +570 AP boon to your team or the enemy team depending on how it backfires.

I have been using shrink ray since mop it's a blast!
it's has a chance of
1. Giving u 114 ap and enlarge you/team
2. Chance of losing 114 ap and shrinking you/team
3. Giving your opponent/team 114 ap and enlarging
4. Chance on your opponent losing 114 ap an shrinking them
And the opponent has to be the same lvl or lower to use
How long does the effect last?

How much damage does Touch of the Void do? Do the tendrils have any other affects besides damage?
