70s in BfA

TBC Epic Gems have changed again on the latest build - Haste, Crit, Versa gems now are the value as the int, agi, str ones :(

You're right. This is really displeasing :/ I just hope this is an accident, but I doubt it is. Bleh. Everyone will gem main stat then.
[doublepost=1530983036,1530973147][/doublepost]Edit - Seems like the PvP ones still give +10. This puts a massive problem on strength users in general at the lack of no good offstat or main stat gems compared to int and agi users.

Although Shinela has been going over the basics of each class, I'm going to go over the classes/specs that I've always loved.
Death Knight
SO Unholy DKs in PvP are lovely which is why I'm doing Unholy first over blood. on PTR I've loved playing it. I've managed to beat a ret paladin once which is great seeing how dumb they are. Necrotic Strike is honestly one of my favorite ability comebacks of all time. Favorite part is how it actually doe sn't cost runes but festering wounds. Unhioly Blight from MoP is back too. It's not bad but other talents are better. Honestly I've loved how Unholy DK REALLY feels like a dot melee class now. In Legion I felt like it wasn't too fun. I never enjoyyed playing it but honestly in BFA I think I may be oding a lot of PvP as Unholy. The PvP talent Wandering Plague is honestly so good untop of Virtulent plague guenuinely Im' in love. Although the talent Clawing Shadows is something that makes Scourage Strike a ranged ability, I still feel like scourage will be better unless you're going up against a ranged class.
Honestly I'm kinda liking how Blood is going at the moment. Although It doesn't seem like I can even do solo Kara anymore, the damage and healing is still pretty nice. I still think Blood Drinker will be top talent in first tier. Consumption on second, 3rd tier is more situational. and so is 4th. I feel like there's a lot more damage reduction now for DKs seeing Rune Tap is available. With out a proper group for trying to do Kara I don't really see anything else to do for PvE wise.

Warrior
Although warriors in PvP still lack any kinda real sense of healing, their damage is honestly crazy. Sharpen Blade is pretty unreal not even gonna lie. If you're paired with a healer in some sort of PvP event, I definitely think you will come out on top. Colossus smash is more of a burst CD it seems. Everything I feel will revolve around making MS stronger. Using Overpower twice into Colossus smash into sharpen blade then finially using MS will be insane damage. The only problem I see is that I don't think duels will go on long enough for that to happen. In duels you're probably going to want Impending Victory while in skirms and such Stormbolt. Rend is probably going to still be good due to deep wounds and rend on top of eachother is actually kinda crazy damage. Havne't really found a need for Masascre over rend only due to Sudden Death actually procing quite a bit. Other than the lack of survivability, overall arms is honestly going to be my 2nd favorite under Unholy.

Hunter
The changes made to survival are definitely interesting. I like how they're damage is I'm not going to lie. Loving the dots. Although I suck at kiting which I feelthat's what their going to be about I'll definitely still be playing the quite a bit. Murder of Crows is still definitely nice. Serpent sting is rather lovely ontop of wildfire bomb im kinda in love w the class.

Priest
Honestly I feel like their healing is in such a great state.

The main difference is that I'm all focused on PvE, because I can't talk well for the PvP side of things :p It's nice to see arms is really fun to play in PvP too though, I really like how warrior is doing in general!
Also thanks for going through this, definitely using this information for when I'm reading through the classes again once I've completed them all.

With out a proper group for trying to do Kara I don't really see anything else to do for PvE wise.

You can't test in raids anyway, they're tuned completely wrong (Unless you're testing on the PTR).
I've got a 5 man group going most of the time for testing in dungeons, which is what I do with every spec for at least one or two runs.

What do the combined stat gems look like with the recent changes? For example on live there are gems like +5 strength/+10 crit gem.

can you make a post about the changes to the enchants(and additions) and proffessions?

I'm going to work on this later once I know numbers are fixed. I felt silly just talking about the gems alone because their numbers have changed around 5 times already, I just keep it there because I put it there before.

Either that or 2 weeks before launch I'll be giving a constant update on here, day by day cycle, on how the enchants and gems are progressing.

Professions I can cover though, and I will work on those later tonight, so thanks for the suggestion on that!

As of 11th of july, the PvP gems are still stronger.

for some reason blizzard seems to actually care about balancing out some of the lower lvl brackets... maby some of them actually have twinks

Too bad if you're a strength user, though.

This may be a dumb question but how can I start farming these pvp gems and what vendor should I go to?

You can. You can buy them at the.. Well... Do you know where to buy the level 60 Honour gear? That place, on the right side (relative to the entrance when walking in)

Awesome ty! Thank god bgs will be awesome again soon because I have a lot of pvp gems to stock up on
[doublepost=1531325932,1531325809][/doublepost]With the item squish coming is there anyone with a thunderfury that can see if it’s worth using as a tanking weapon in pvp for BFA?

Honestly I see it being a good tanking weapon for aoe pulls but not game breaking if you dont have it.
The pvp gems are removed in BFA?

EDIT: Wait nevermind, it says that on non-BFA wowhead too lol. Silly wowhead
they were only just readded in 7.3.5

so it seems the vendor gems have not been nerfed much or at all but crafted took a hit. The metas from bashir landings are also close to unchanged, as well along with a few other vendor gems
