Not that useful anymore, since the gear now scales by level then the Slither-Scale Gauntlets scaled to level 19 will be bis (Has about a 1-2% drop rate from some mobs in wailing caverns) it's 1 more stamina than the Thorbia's Gauntlets.

Higher ilvl means the slither scale are better in ipvp. Same int/agi, but higher stam makes slither scale better for wpvp. Add in the set bonus - which adds a ton of int for the full set. Even hunters might consider the 3 piece to get some haste.

So not BiS =(

Yes, they would scale. But no, not to 25. World drop BoEs scale oddly. Low lvl armor blues can drop with ilvl X3 or X8 and are 8 ilvls above the level requirement. Meaning it can drop at ilvl 23 and require level 15 or ilvl 28 and require level 20. Not too exciting for 19s. However, BoE blue weapons scale at X0 and x5, meaning you can get ilvl 25 versions that require level 17.

So the ilvl 28 version would likely be BiS for level 20s who don't need the set bonus. Which would be agility users who prefer 2 agi over 4 haste or those who get the 3 piece without the gloves.
