EU+US Taming 'Volux'

I haven't personally attempted it... but multiple comments on the very page you linked state that (regardless of faction) once the bomb explodes, the resulting "phasing" will thwart your attempts.

I suppose it's possible a patch could've changed something, but that seems like wishful thinking.

My sympathies... it looks pretty cool!
 
I checked other comments. Someone noticed the pet got out phasing at very high. Maybe it's a bug but i'll try to catch it too.
 
Update:

I spent a few evenings there while waiting for que's and i spammed a /target macro around. So I can say I lost my chance to get it. For people interested in taming this rare beast, DON'T finish the 'bomb' quest at Stonetalon Mountains.
 
Eyepatch, stockade shield, staff and dodge ring ilvl 30 ones are gfd like Ashenvale ilvl 32 ring. Quest source blues are all 26 now.

Besides bg crates. All world drop armor blues will drop at +8 at lvls ending with a 0 such as 20. World chest items don't scale so you have to do dungeons or farm in the open world.

And yes its only armor not weapons. Weapons are at levels ending with a 2. Thats about it.
