You can't. You're likely going to have to make/buy a new one. This will make my Hunter's 3rd legendary crafted piece lol. Ill just keep the rest for timewalking sets.
@Hiroitchi During a Q&A, blizz stated they would probably do what they've been doing, and that's automatically have any new legendaries be 1000, and old ones you have to upgrade (given you're 110)
I'm just hoping this is the highest they go. Not that I'm hating on the idea of having stronger gear on my 101, but thats when I want to open all my boxes. Fuck it, maybe I'll just wait till the end of the Xpac and stick with the crafted...

I’m opening the 70 odd boxes when 7.3.5 drops, can’t wait any longer and 1000 is a nice round number!

Are u sure the boxes will include ilvl 1000 legendaries? I mean im stacking them too on my bank but some say they'll be still 970 when we are opening them

It generates from loot tables. It's not predetermined. Its not even a regular container. Think of it more as a token as opposed to a lockbox. Which even a lockbox isn't predetermined, unless it's been opened.

I mean, I already have my BiS Trinket for my shaman and it wouldnt be a shame if one (hello rng) would be still 970 but to have a non crafted 1000 Legi would be insane 
(Maybe ill write a ticket and whine a bit, maybe I find a Gm who upgrades my Trinket or I can trade in my paragonchests haha ). So ill stack them til 7.3.5! Thanks for the Info

Yeah, I'd love to get the Fury WW proc legendary, but I'm not sure it's better than a 1000ilvl with 3sockets

Those BoA tokens are well arent really an option for me either since my 110 is a Demon Hunter and my twink is a Demon Hunter. Pretty much I feel as though trying for those BoA tokens takes away from time for my twink where I am trying to go for as much traits as I can. End game content has been well more frustrating and tedious. Anyways since those tokens are out.. just waiting to see what happens when the new raid comes out.
