If the new expansion doesn't revert the changes made to pvp or remove stat normalization, I'll probably quit the game. I miss competitive games, and I also miss games in which I can show off my hard earned gear by hitting big-ass crits

Removal of stats normalization would almost certainly mean there would be a reseparation of XP/NonXP BGs which doesn't seem very likely to me.

Pvp isn't currently a super great means of exp gain. Most people level by dungeons/questing with the occasional battleground on the way up. Lots of people just character boost to 100. I see no major problem with returning to the old scaling method wod or late MoP used while keeping xp on and off brackets merged. twinks have ruled xpon brackets since the beginning of instanced pvp.

Stat templates for pve, stat difference between a level 1 and an ilvl 1265 lvl 120 raider is 0.1% and consumables cannot be used outside of an inn

Like Fael I'm hoping for more spells at the lower levels, although I don't see this happening. Every expansion they pruned abilities, and I can't see them backing away from that. Literally happened every time since end of Wrath. #facebookGame.

Honestly, all I can hope for is that they somehow tweak the ilvls at lower levels so that you will see a pretty decent difference between BiS and regular shit with almost no ilvl. Ideally I would want stats and enchants back in instanced PvP, but I don't see that happening at all.

I just want my rogue to be enjoyable again, honestly.

I think if thy try to remove artifact weapons it will fix some of there mess. Artifact is the reason pvp is in this shit state anyway, having to balence classes based on how strong there artifact talents / ability are. Although uncommon, I believe that enchants will come back in a bigger way than wod or legion. With this I do potentially see gems and enchants coming back to play in instanced pvp. Blizzard may only care about sub numbers but the normalization of pvp alone rang true to the fact that people arnt playing blizzards games if they keep making it 7 year old friendly.

This is true but many people run BGs for the scale-able gear that is pretty much the best you can get while questing/leveling. I see the amount of non twinks queuing dropping significantly if they know they are about to go into a BG only to constantly be one shotted by twinks with the removal of stats normalization. = Much slower queue pops.

I do realize that gear is pretty much a non factor on a regular toon until 110, but many others may not see it that way.

I'd like them to remove stat normalization so I can re-stomp the shit out of levelers again just like in the ol' glory days.

Demo lock suddenly becomes op and alot of demo locks appear and say "I've been playing demo lock for a long time"
