There was some talk at 19 bracket about how you cant loot mobs at broken isles but if there was one so that guy wants to kill every mob in broken isles but I think you still are not able to loot them but if there was some rare that is looted by mining its corpse or something because at timeless isle I couldn't loot mobs but this one boss was looted by mining or something so if there are any at broken isles, pls inform about them in lvl 1 dc

It has nothing to do with "a certain, Rare Mob that's lootable". It's based on Legion's Scaling Tech and the 101 BoE Epics having a 'Scales with Level' variant to them. Loooong story short, there's a Guild with a bunch of 89's that have full Legion BoE's. We're still speculating as to how exactly they pulled it off but the theory goes as long as you have Characters within 9 Levels in Group that at least have aggro then any drops should scale down to any Level in that Group.

We have yet to confirm it works, or still works as Blizz found out about it and nerfed the Gear on those Toons.

I tried killing mobs in broken shore, but i cant get any loot.

How can you get the loot? we can try going with a 110 and try if we have luck, but... 0.2%

IF we understand the method properly, you MUST have a Level 98+ in Group and then -9 Levels all the way down. You can't just take 5 lowbies and expect loot.

You don't need a 98+ in group to loot if you are within the 9 levels as far as I know. 89's and up have no problem looting the mobs.

Wasn't that when mobs themselves scaled to their level though? Like, I feel like this discussion overall is missing something. From what I recall, the mobs that are in the quest areas just as you're about to enter Suramar, and Suramar itself, were the only mobs that had a fixed level of 110. Every other mob scaled down to 89 when the 89s used this method, hell, it could've scaled even lower maybe. Blizzard later fixed that scaling (pretty quickly after the discovery iirc), making every mob a minimum of level 98. Now, the loot scaling may still be a thing, but you may still need to start with a level 98 in the group and decrement by 9 levels from there.

It would be the right assumption to make. We could really need some clearification from 89s who have definite experience in using this method. The more details, the better. Unsure if they are willing to share their finds though. I would understand if they are not, but at the same time, it could be dope to be enlightened a bit on a discovery with such a big impact as this.
