EU+US Most out of Racials as F2P

human racial best racial since wotlk. Like...wtf.. how is human in t4...you get to break out of an extra stun. The majority of this shitty game's comps revolve around stuns

hehe xd
I've always loved dwarves for rogue PVP. Dwarves are my favorite race, easily, due to lore and look as well.

Back when you could get rid of disease with SF? One of the best things to go against DKs in WoTLK.

Then again, you'd still be mostly screwed against a Shadowfrost DK with a Holy Pally in arena. Literally, 90% of the top 100 teams for 2s were that.
Stoneform was nerfed due to DKs during WOTLK so you could not really cleanse diseases with it

XD ;) :)

Yep, but for a while you could before it was nerfed. But hey, had to do everything possible to make them live up to that hero class, right? ;)

It's always been my favorite in any form of RPG. They always have neat lore, and are always pretty fun to play. I think WoW really hit the nail on the head with it, and borrowed the best aspects of dwarf mythos from Tolkien, Germanic lore, a bit of D&D, and plenty of their own take on it.

That and they look amazing in almost all gear.

Anyone else really miss treasure finding? :(

Yea, I love them. The only bit of RP I engage in was making sure my toon had an appropriate tabard. So getting the Wildhammer Clan on my 20 was HUGE for me. Even though, given that stoneform exists, it technically means all playable dwarves are Bronzebeard, not Wildhammer (to bring it back around to racials) but we're just gonna ignore that.

Yeah, there are a handful of goofs in lore in the game. Some blatantly hilarious, some probably overlooked (Like the racial).

Blizz has a habit of retconning lore, and throwing some stuff together and just calling it good. But they also have some amazing stuff, so it's okay.

I remember having a character or two on Emerald Dream in Clan Battlehammer for a few years as an alt, just so I could log on and do all dwarf raids and PVP groups. Those were fun times.

Also, I really need to work on more tabards on my characters. Then again, 90% of the time I just use Tabard of Flame.

I would personally put dwarf rogue at t2 over gob and worgen at t3 rogue due to stoneform removing dots to get restealth quicker. I would probably put orc at t2 as well because the AP buff is a pretty nice burst on EFCs. Although this may just be my playstyle since i usually position myself pretty well without the movement speed stuff. My opinion is solely based on WSG.

Going to keep Orcs and Trolls T3 for now until we get some more +DMG advocates vs. +Move Speed advocates.

Wish this was uploaded a long time ago nice post dude!! keep it up !!!

Thank you!

Yeah, I wasn't too sure about how the shared CD timers were. Going to re-evaluate my whole Freedom Movement Category and rework it into higher tiers.

Thanks for all the input guys, keep it coming.

Human racial was a lot more fun when it didn't share CD with trinks. ;)

Here's my personal tier list.

Horde Racials > Alliance Racials

Tier 1
Pandaren
(Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Priest)
Notes: The ultimate trinket baiter. It's very easy to bait a trinket and then CC them into a longer CC (Freeze Trap/Psychic Scream). Or sometimes to incap heals/pets (to stop Flanking Strikes). The reduced fall damage is great for the WSG GY ledge, LM drops, BET/MT drops. It would be Tier S/A, if food were active in BGs, because +12 Stam/Vers is no laughing matter.

Drawbacks: Not pleasant to look at.

Horde Racials
Great Tier (aka why Horde Racials>Alliance Racials)

Blood Elf (Warrior, Hunter, Rogue)
Notes: AoE interrupt. OP.
Drawbacks: Not good outside fighting casters.

Tauren (Warrior, Hunter, Druid)
Notes: 2s AoE Stun.
Drawbacks: 0.5s cast time. Very short and not usually trinketed.

Meh Tier
Goblins (Priest, Mage)
Notes: Quick escape/mobility for classes without it.
Drawbacks: It's very easy to get snared mid-jump. Rocket Jump sounds great on paper, but in actual combat, it's horrible.

Undead (Warlock)
Notes: Cannibalize is amazing.
Drawbacks: WotF suffers the same problem as EMFH. Cannibalize is primarily good on lock where HP/MP becomes a problem. Maybe arcane mages.

Trash Tier
These races get slight advantages in 1v1 situations, not that good anywhere else.
Orc (Warrior)
Notes: Minor boost to AP/SP.
Drawbacks: Pet damage and stun reduction aren't great.

Troll (Warrior)
Notes: Minor regen and slight haste boost.
Drawbacks: Snare reduction isn't great.

Alliance Racials
Good Tier

Dwarf (Warrior, Hunter, Rogue)
Notes: Damage reduction/Bleed/Poison Removal.
Drawbacks: The only combat racial. But there aren't that many bleeds/poisons.

Night Elf (Warrior, Rogue, Hunter, Druid)
Notes: Vanish.
Drawbacks: Not great for combat. But great for disengaging/free vanish.

Meh Tier
Gnome (Rogue, Priest, Mage)
Notes: Extra Energy/MP. Snare break is great.
Drawbacks: Snare break is kinda only half good, since most classes easily reapply their snares.

Worgen (Warrior, Mage, Warlock)
Notes: Good on classes lacking mobility.
Drawbacks: 40% move speed is only good for two things: 1. Chasing 2. Running away. Not much actual effect unless kiting a Warrior.

Trash Tier
Humans are the goto for PVE though.

Human (???)
Notes: Breaks stuns.
Drawbacks: EMFH shares a 30s CD with trinket and there are like two stuns in F2P/Vet bracket: HoJ and War Stomp. Pallies aren't the meta, and by the time 30s elapses you're either dead, or they're dead. Only useful in fights where both sides have healers (almost never).

Draenei (Warrior)
Notes: A HoT.
Drawbacks: The heals are pretty bad. Only good if you have no healer or if you are on the brink of death.

Majorly disagree on Worgen.

Very, very good for Rogues and FCs.

Cat is 30% and Travel is 40%. I don't recall Darkflight stacking with Travel, but if it does, I guess it would be the top pick for FCs. It's alright for Rogues, but rogues are pretty bad atm. Outlaw gets a ranged snare and stun so chasing isn't as much of a problem.
And, well, personally, my ranking is based around combat potential

Escape Artist on a Monk is literally heaven

I wouldn't say Rogues are bad. I do just fine blowing people up on Sub.

ROGUE:

Tier 1:

Dwarf:
-10% Damage = 8 sec (cures poison/bleeds/etc) [2 min CD]

Tier 2:
Worgen:
+40% Move Speed = 10 sec [2 min CD]

this is why i cant take your bracket seriously

also putting blood elf on every tier4 slot for every ranged class is a joke lmao

back when priests got Spectral Guise, stoneform followed by Spectral Guise saved my dwarf priest many times. but i guess we centainly have a lot better options in legion :(
blood elf mage would be tier1, human mage is not.
blink removes stuns and human racial shares a cd with trinket so i'd rather save trinket for other CCs
f2p mages no longer have counterspell so blink followed by arcane torrent is the only instant way to interrupt healers

Hey, guys. Been away for a while.
Reworked some of the order.
Would like to get the discussion going again to further improve the list.

I guess let's start by each class individually.
First up:

...
HUNTER:

Tier 1:
Pandaren:
Sleep = 4 sec [2 min CD]

Water Walking (through pet)

Tier 2:
Tauren:
AoE Stun = 2 sec [1min 30 sec CD]
Blood Elf:
AoE Silence = 2 sec [1min 30 sec CD]

Tier 3:
Human:
Remove Stun [2 min CD]

Gnome:
Remove Slow/Root [1 min CD]
Undead:
Remove Charm/Fear/Sleep [2 min CD]
Worgen:
+40% Move Speed = 10 sec [2 min CD]
Goblin:
Rocket Jump (best used on elevation) [1 min 30 sec CD]

Tier 4:

Orc:
Bloodfury = 15 sec (+Attack Power/Spell Power) [2 min CD]

Troll:
+15% Haste = 10 sec [3 min CD]
Night Elf:
Shadowmeld (Combat Stealth) [2 min CD]

Tier 5:
Dwarf:
-10% Damage = 8 sec (cures poison/bleeds/etc) [2 min CD]

Draenei:
+20% HP HoT = 5 sec (Instant) [3 min CD]
...
