US Should the survival hunter ban be lifted?

Thought we should discuss whether or not the ban on survival hunter should be lifted in preamdes.

With the health pool increase surv still does good damage, but it has become heal-able.

Do we lift the ban allowing one hunter? Please share your thoughts here :) .

I personally don't think so just because the fact they are still OP then most other DPS classes. Regardless of being heal-able or not.

Say like in WSG a 1v1 happens, its almost impossible for most DPS classes to even cc/kill or slow down a Surv hunter. There are other scenarios, but u get my point.

You dont think boomkins ramp up damage is comparable? Also, survival is less effective in mid due to damage being done at closer range, causing them the need to over extend heavily to bbe effective

Thats just one aspect of the game, i'm also taking into consideration when hunters split off to stop/kill things. Or just jumping up bottom ground to fucking GY and above GY.

How is that fair when other classes don't even have remotely as close mobility???

Some good points i give u that, though warriors have always been able to charge up to GY and did that all of WoD to.

I know its only one aspect, but lets say u have surv in mid, if he leaves mid to kill efc, then your mid is going to be heavily weaker vs a team with a surv in mid. Meaning u have to be smart about when to keep and send your survival.

This is all just discussion, weighing the pros and cons of if survival should be allowed or not, just thought it needed to be reevaluated after the patch.

Totally, and i'm just giving the community my views on how it can be still very strong depending on the situation.

Just in certain scenarios they can jump to places that even warriors can't do, all you need is a rogue ready to open on a EFC the same time a hunter leaps his way to EFC or someone near him to finish off EFC.

I guess the most critical point is that hunter's burst DPS far out weighs a warrior at this point and would take half the amount of people to finish of a player. It can be very detrimental in certain situations i the game just because of head smash on keyboard.

Putting a scenario down: You want to win by out playing the team 100%. Now two teams having a close game, one team that is slightly outplaying the other team gets 1 cap up in the last 2 mins of the game. Then for god knows what reason or scenario the losing teams hunter can turn around a game just because of that leap and finish off a EFC even though the team was in a strategically in a better spot you know.

Also the hunters leap is 5-45 yards warrior is like 8-25 yards, in close games every bit matters.

Just ideas on the table.

But who knows, maybe there other things i'm not keeping in mind. Looking forward to seeing other peoples comments.

Without the throwing axe talent they seem fair

But they still do have Throwing Axes, and high dmg and high mobility. Just as boomies are OP with their high dmg and mobility, being able to cast on the run in feral form at range, and heal with Regrowth. No spec should have all of those.

They are still extremely OP and overwhelming.

Throwing Axes still hits like a truck, mobile with their charge, and Flanking Strike still hits hard. If you line anything with a Survs damage the target will die.

What we should really talk about is allowing double specs with limits on some.

TWINK CUP HYPE!!

I understand Burg, but to make rules fair in all aspects. We must first have to look at all the ones that are possible and why or why not they should be allowed.

We must explain in depth so the community has a better understanding why things are banned and or not banned in the cup.

Now back to topic :p

Why don't you guys stop f.ucking around and just DQ/ban those way OP specs (SV, Boomy, Disc), or ban use of certain talents? Everyone knows ppl play them just to pad meters so they can wave their small dicks pretending they're some kind of "skilled" player.

Relax spastic we are just talking about surv hunters, one thing at a time man no rush in getting everything done in one day.

All things must be talked about in length before deciding on a rule.

As a community we need to find what best fits for competitive games.

What fits best for competitive games is an even playing field where no one has an unfair advantage or disadvantage.

If two teams are allowed to play 10 survival hunters neither has an unfair advantage or disadvantage, u have raised no points.

I think they are really good yea, though it would be cool to have them in 10v10s WITHOUT throwing axes. It's like 30% of their dmg gone and the burst isn't nearly as big. Still good but so is arcane mages and boomies no?

Saying that any dmg connected together with a hunters is just... look at prev tc and rend?

One thing is for sure it would change the meta, and what's the point having a set meta with the first ever rules in this expansion?

True true, I guess the easiest way is to try surv hunters without throwing axes and see how they fair.

Wow. You guys are unbelievable. Lift the ban and put me on sv hunter.
