Yessir, which is why those of us with Pally/Warrior Twinks that do any kind of Prot spec have been pissed. The Hotfix must've come across sometime today so here's hoping everyone gets a chance at the Str 1H!

Blizz is supposed to "Fix" them all soon (TM). Anytime Blizz says they're going to fix something that usually means they're going to break it worse then attempt a few times to fix the fix that they broke so it works in the end.

Proof that Prot Loot Spec now works for Paladin/Warrior since, today.

Sadly though, the Str 1H has Mastery and other than looks isn't terribly great for actual Prot Specs other than iLvL (and ofc no-Loom 10's @ShinyHero ). I may adjust this thought if I ever receive the iLvL 25 variant but for now it's certainly 'meh'.

I posted a Thread on the Official Forums suggesting to Blizzard how they could keep these Invasion going throughout the Expansion, while maintaining a good level of Exclusivity on items awarded from the 3-week long Pre-Expansion Event. I personally do like the fact the gear will be GF'd straight after the event, It makes the gear feel more special and the urge to grind greater and more exciting. So i'm not really %100 for the idea but i think similar event with various rewards would be a great addition to the game. +1

Servers are back up from today's DT. Unfortunately the final frequency for Invasions hasn't implemented just yet, so it's still set to once/2 hours for up to 3 Invasions totals. Later on today it should be once/hour all 6 Zones.

Did you get armor to drop too? The 1H axe has been dropping all along, the problem was that it was the only thing prot could get and it still had the same drop rate as other weapons.

I'm keeping at least a full set of each type at least. Might want to keep any duplicate 35s on your F2P though. You can't buy back anything you accidentally vendor...right clicking one in the wrong spot would feel pretty bad.

Yes, I went from getting nothing but Nethershards to getting all drops just like my other 12 Twinks that I spammy mcspam these Invasions on daily.

Seems like the progress bar (in stage 3 in particular) might have been stealth-nerfed / broken during today's DDos. Now Invasions that usually take 15-20m each takes upwards of 30m even with tons of people participating. I hope this gets fixed before the 6 invasions every hour week starts, but chances are it probably fucking won't.

(And I'm only 4/8 done with my 720 armour rip)

It's likely because of ppl logging as soon as Stage 3 starts to get a new Stage 1 Invasions to XP Spam. Last night (early this morning) they were taking nearly 40m each.

Alright, final week and the last increase in Invasion frequency has been made. There are now all 6 Invasions simultaneously and the window is still 2 hours long, instead of the 1 hour we thought, happy farming.

Looks like the average class (non-mage, non-guild hearthstone) can probably do 4 invasions max in 2hours. What are your favourite choices to rotate between?

For alliance level 20 me, I pick Azshara and N.Barrens ofc since they're neighbours, then I might pick Tanaris via portal, then flying to Theramore --> ship to Wetlands --> fly to Dun Morogh (in case hearthstone isn't down).

Anyone got a tighter schedule to work on? I don't wanna spend too much time flying, so that's why I'm ignoring Hillsbrad unless I have a mage port available.

I've manage 5 invasion and up to stage 3 on 6th invasion


My steps are :

Start at hilsbrad, then khanaros, and Westfall. I heart to shrine then go to Tanaris, complete it, fly to barrens, at arriving Azshara i have min 15 min to complete it, rather impossible so i do up to 2nd stage chest then go back to ashenvale, wait for all invasion to reset then renter azshara

Then i'll fly down to barrens, then to tanaris
Heart to shrine, westfall, Khanaros and then hilsbrad

TL;DR

Hilsbrad>khanaros>westfall> heart to shrine> tanaris > barrens > azshara from there i vice versa,
