Vanilla throwbacks and itemization

So as I was playing Elysium the other day and was kinda brainstorming about WoW gear

Many say that vanilla gear is badly itemized. I say thats complete baloney cuz most items at lvls 10+ are just WAAAY too good with primary stats like agil/str/stamina. Things with primary stats literally rain down from every quest. And yet there not enough items with spirit or something like +2 nature resistance/+75 armor. Just feels like too much good gear thrown around everywhere that is easily accessible


Imho WoW would be way better if 90% of its items were statted like http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=4746 (btw they give -10 stam). Or http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=7344 and these http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=1131

I always enjoy when RPG have items like that, one of my favorite is Lord of the rings, The two towers on the GBA shoutout to those who have played it

Game got dumbed down, that's a fact. Got easier but also with these fake "item levels" and every item of the same tier giving exact same boronf stats... Lost a lot of it's former atmosphere
