as lucky as it is that much of the community is still allowed to play, arkant was pretty clearly talking about using abilities in cat form.

on another note, disallowing abilities in cat form is a pretty awful rule and should be fixed to cat form specific abilities. who even comes up with this lmao

If you were to cast rejuvenation from cat form while in the tournament, no one would jump on you.

Your objections are awful.

considering how everyone was splitting hairs over rules in the wsg tournament and how it isnt even hard for it to it to be clarified, you should probably just stop posting.

You must be new here. People have tried to disqualify each other over things like the bubble wand toy in the previous TC. The use of heals or racials from cat form is currently against the rules.
 
HoTs cannot be cast in cat form, they are cast outside of cat form after which they become a passive phenomenon.

Even if you cast one of these spells while in cat form before the cast starts you are taken out of cat form.

I'll get back to you on that, I believe the rule was meant for cat form specific abilities but that needs to be clarified before being made official.

The fact that this had to be clarified speaks very poorly for the players in this bracket.

Quit trying to hyper analyze the wording of a rule. The intended meaning is very, very clear.
 
Updates​

Druid:
  • Shred and Ferocious Bite is not allowed in cat form. (Cat form rules re-structured)
  • Restoration Druids count as a stealth class in the ARENA section of the Tournament.
Mage
  • All Mage's must play the frost specialization.
Structure
  • The tournament finals are now 2x Bo5
Specializations
  • You cannot change Specializations during the tournament
