Did you defend farm?

I've been patient and I've played many, many more games of AB than I've wanted to recently but it is almost sad seeing watching Horde get the absolute snot beat out of it. What is going on with this Bracket's Horde and AB?

  • They run off after assaulting a base instead of defending it, let alone staying with it until it caps.
  • Fights on the roads instead of on the flag, meaning when a base is defended, it's usually lost to a backcapping stealth.
  • Horde Stealths never seem to go for backcaps (this goes for AV as well).
  • Rarely call out or respond to Incoming calls.
  • Seem to lose most fights in general with Alliance (Even if it's even).
  • Never move together or focus targets.
  • Never goes for bases where Alliance are thin.
What is going on? Does Horde just have less geared and less experienced players? Does Horde not have enough druids? Does Alliance have premades for BGs and Horde doesn't? Do good Horde players not play AB? Are Horde players content with losing in the same way every game? Is AB just too complex for Horde??

Yes

In reply to the comments above: Those are interesting points that I did not consider before. I think I'll have to conduct my own research to see if it is true or not.

1. People are stupid, even the basic tactic of attacking healers is way beyond the ability of most people.
2. Not many people are winners. Losing is much easier.
3. Playing WoW brings the % chance of meeting someone who IS a winner down dramatically.
4. There is no real reward fro winning, they even nerfed the tokens.
5. The best gear for bgs doesn't come from chests. We know this.
6. Not only are people stupid, they are lazy. They may be smart but thinking takes effort. It is much easier to just chase that mage.
7. The urge to zerg stables and leave all nodes undefended is too much for most people to overcome. Holding 3 takes a very small amount of team work and disciple, but MUCH more than most WoW players can muster.

I know the issue with AB. Unfortunately, I am finishing up Defilers rep on my level 20. I need about 10 more wins. So I really want to play AB and it just so happens I prefer AB over WSG.
The issue is that Brazilians absolutely LOVE to play Arathi Basin. And their style of play is a lot different than than other players. So, if you plan on playing AB. You should also plan on encountering Brazilians and adjust your game depending on how many are on your team. As a healer, I just sit on flag and defend it. If they run out of my healing range they die. I am not going to chase them down to heal them. Sooner or later they get the idea and stay close if they want to live. The ones they don't care if they die(it is just a game after all) won't stay close.
My analysis is that Brazilians don't care if they win or lose. They are there just to have fun. And there is nothing wrong with that. Isn't that the whole point of playing? Let them have their fun. No use getting all bent out of shape over a video game when you can just queue for another game in a a matter of minutes.

It's many of the things OP said, plus herd mentality. Was in a few Horde ABs yesterday and saw constant zergs from Farm to BS to LM, and maybe 1 or 2 sitting one base. We'd take one, then a couple would head off for the next and the pack followed. No comms, no coordination, no defense, no attempts at Stables or GM...just roving zerg. You tend to lose that way.

When Trump wins, the first order of business should be to NUKE Brazil to rid ourselves of this jaja problem.

edit to add:

Targeted drone strikes within the US @ levelers who have no business anywhere near a bg.
