I think that Quantum computers will always be highly specialized as they are now, and if they are ever commercially available it will probably be used for virtual reality. Other than that Corporations, governments, perhaps research groups will be the ones mostly using them.
I would not be surprised to see that in my life time, as they already have Quantum Computers and Artificial intelligence, once these two things converge we could use them to figure out how to improve themselves.
