This is my friend caster Sata he has been casting for a few years now, i used to work with him in a collegiate league of legends league, we were a great duo, friends inside and outside of the broadcast, many many many casts with this guy. He worked hard and applied to RIOT and they picked him up as their LPL shoutcaster. He now works in australia as their pbp caster&challenger series caster. Professionalism is not far out of reach. listen to his guidance this guy is a beast!

Casters Cachet Ep1

• Dont be afraid to create your own style
• Generally you have the playbyplay caster and color caster
• Playbyplay (pbp) - cover action, host for the color caster
• Color - insight & connection with personal stories

• Who teh f^ck are you? Why would anyone care to listen to you? be PROFESSIONAL, practice/learn!
• Work with your casting buddy become HOMIES!

• Casting is hard mmkay
• Creating a storyline is key! bring people into the broadcast
• As the PBP caster you get to direct the flow of the storyline, point your color caster in the right directoin
• As pbp, you are the why!
• Broadcast is simply a conversation ^_^ try your best to be a good conversationalist, open ended questions!

• Nitty gritty stats ( hey what happened to the stat book?)
• Humor/offtopic/BANTER is great! pass that time, nobody wants to see one team get gy farmed for 25 minutes zzzzzzz
• DO YOUR HOMEWORK, BECOME A SHOUTCASTING GOD, GIVE THAT INTERESTING INFORMATION!

Casters Cachet Ep5

• Too much banter is bad dont be an idiot about it.
• *informative ability*
• Pay attention to your inflection, pay attention to your vocabulary, work on it, pick words you like & use them, but dont over use them!

Tips:

• Standing helps with your diaphram & mentally gets u more into the cast
• Take notes during game of things you want to talk about when you have the opportunity, downtime, etc
• Dont be afraid of dead air, it can enhance a broadcast, let people have time to breathe/think etc
• Have fun! Work with your community!
