EU+US F2P Rogue help!

Hey all I created a human rogue a few days ago and since then I have just been grinding dungeons and disenchanting items and also buying stuff from the engineering supplier to "store" more gold. Im currently level 20 now and was wondering what the best spec is for PvP and the best talent too. Could anyone also tell me the best possible gear I can have?

This guide is an up to date list of BiS gear for pvp. Because of the way Blizzard figures stats for pvp, you're gonna want to default to the highest item level leather gear you can find. And the slowest weapon speed you can get (regardless of other considerations. weapon speed is the ONLY thing that matters for rogue weapons.)

As for spec/talent I like outlaw with the quickshot talent. Your mileage may vary.

Ty so much I'll have a read on that, I would have never know about those changes!

For what its worth, the darkmoon faire is going on, so now is a choice time to pick up the heirloom mace/sword (whichever) thats 2.8 speed. I THINK its the slowest 1hander alliance has access to.

You just gotta fish up 100 darkmoon daggermaw (farm the pools) and then buy a quest item, finish a short quest and youll get 100 darkmoon tickets. Thats good for a couple heirloom pieces.

After that, its not REALLY a huge difference between what youre wearing and BiS gear. Especially for a true f2p like us. I think you get like 1% better stats for each 10 points in AVERAGE item level you go up.

So dont feel like you'll be handicapped if you que up. Youll be fine.

How long will fishing 100 daggermaw take and until when is the dark moon faire active?

The faire lasts all week and I pretty routinely will hit 100 daggermaw in about half an hour, provided there's little/no competition for pools. And there rarely is. It's something you could do between ques in an evening.

Outlaw mainly due to semi range attack & stun. Other specs just cant keep up atm at 20.
As for talents: Swordmaster gives most dps output. shit is still rng but what you gonna do.
Picking up and spaming Ghostly Strike all the time is an option if rng/energy cost sickens you to the bone but you will lack dmg in comparison.

My opinion for gear: focus on wpvp and duels. all this instance pvp stat chasing is utter bullshit. it will not save you from 1k flanking strikes. Get stamina and agility mix on armor and heirloom sword with dagger in offhand for faster whites.
From what i see you mostly set up so should not be a problem.

The upgraded ilvl 28 blues you win from bg's will be BiS for most slots.
You should also do the quest for http://www.wowhead.com/item=24118/signet-of-argas for your other ring. And if you get enough http://www.wowhead.com/item=137642/mark-of-honor you could buy a trinket and neck from http://www.wowhead.com/npc=14753/illiyana-moonblaze. Then you just need another trinket.
Also, with Outlaw, you'd be better with swords rather than daggers. Daggers are for Assassination.
I've got a F2P Rogue (well it's a linked F2P so it's full of looms) and I play Assassination. I find the http://www.wowhead.com/spell=16511/hemorrhage talent the most useful. You have quite a few bleed abilities and having the bleed buff from http://www.wowhead.com/spell=16511/hemorrhage really causes your bleeds to wear away at a target.
If you solo play however Assassination is not the spec. I only play the Rogue if I'm with a friend as sticking by someone you can be a lot more effective. On your own, once you get your bleeds up on a target, there's not a lot left for you to do but take a beating. But if you double team you can be a lot more effective.
If you solo play however, then Outlaw is the way to go. You have a slow and extra stun.

Word. World pvp is way overlooked.

Grind out your BG gear rewards (opt for the versatility gear if you've got the patience) and then go farm kids in ashenvale or arathi. Its way more fun than queing into 15 survival hunters.

Well, until they get mad and camp you on their main. But thats what netflix is for.

I just got my enchanting to 100 and now going to enchant a ton of vellums. Which enchants are the best on armour? Im guessing striking is the best for weapons but for armour is it agility?

The +1 chants to bracers are broken, so you're stuck with +15 health to chest, +1 armor to cloak and whatever the real low level health chant is for bracers (+3 i think? I honestly cant remember)

Does that just affect white damage? Because yellow damage on outlaw spec is considerably lower with the dagger.
It affects whites and yellows. The stat template in BG takes the speed of the weapon and assess a damage range based solely on that, not the actual damage range. Which is why it being gray doesn't matter. The damage range that's applied for a 2.6 speed dagger is crazy. Will add 200 damage to your muts iirc.

For your yellows it normalzies the weapon speed and rolls that damage range to calculate your hit so no, I wouldn't recommend for outlaw as you will be calculated based on a normalizied dagger speed of 1.7. Also wouldn't recommend for OH either as any OH yellow attack is 50% calculated from the MH, it doesn't use your OH weapon at all. This would just increase your OH speed on whites, which I wouldn't do. Sinister strike is purely a MH hit, as far as I know outlaw doesn't have any yellows that use the OH (like mut hitting with both). If that's the case it would go like this:

Mut rogue
Gray dagger/1.7 dagger
Outlaw
Sword/1.7 dagger
Sub
Honestly don't know how their attacks work...
