So I was just looking through my guild and I saw that the 850+ dauntless gear from the broken shore nethershard vendor, only have a required level for 101. Does this mean that 101s can farm nethershards and get the 850+ gear? There is also more expensive 880+ gear, not sure if that has the same requirement though?

Afraid not, they are made by tokens that require level 110.

Ahhh very weird. Btw, forgot to tell ya how my hunter is doing. I LOVE IT. Here's my toon http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/stormrage/Popsiclelife/advanced :). BM is pretty damn fun and the clear times are amazing. You weren't lying about 1+ mil burst...

Yeah, it's kinda strange blizz making 101 items that we can't get, always fun. ^^
Your hunter looks pretty good, i'm glad you like it, and hell I wasn't kidding haha, guess you made the right decission. ^^

I noticed that yesterday, found it very strange that they made it equippable for a level 101 but requires level 110 to open the gear token. Maybe there is a way around this and 101's will be able to equip the dauntless gear. We'll see.

Well... the Dauntless item I got out of the cache item (from turning in 100 War Resources) didn't have a required level on it to use to create the actual wearable item. (Or it was a UI bug, since my addons were acting funky)

I'm not sure if the random dauntless drops (from mobs, etc) have a required level to use, or if its only the purchased version... I haven't really been spending much time in the new area, there's really nothing to do.

It's a UI bug, most items don't show their level requirement when you mouseover them in your bags but they do if you link them in chat.

There is a small chance to randomly get the tokens when completing one of the upcoming invasion WQs (at 110 at least). Question is, will the level req scale down like most things do? Probably not is my guess :/

We'll find out next Tuesday. I'm off and plan to push Invasion most of the day after the Servers come up on my 99 DH as well as at least one of my 101's. I'm also going to test if any bit of the new Invasions works for low Levels via grouping or what not.

I think the invasions are going to roll out in stages - the first stage just includes some more world quests which you can do at 101 for xp / AP / OHR.

The reason the gear is equip-able at 101 but not attainable is most likely for mog purposes.

That makes zero sense at all, why would xmoging be different when a item is 101 or 110? >.>

So there are sets. if a set is from lvl 85, you cannot wear it at level 70.
Once you obtain sets on another toon, it unlocks it for your other leveling characters if they meet the level and armour type.
As people who "wish" they had access to certain appearances for varying level toons, I'm glad they didn't lock it out at 110.
