How is Prot Pallies damage. i hate long ques and wanted to gear up a prot pally slash Ret.

or should i just go Ret/Prot?

The damage on prot aint that great. As for survival any class can solo and tank everything with the right gear, so there's no real reason to go tank either way. If you had to pick i would deffo go for retri for the dps output. As ret you should stick around 250-400k dps with the right gear on boss fights.

x2 on what Changzu said. The only reason I would ever go prot paladin is if you happened to be leveling a 100 raider from WoD who has the Archi trinket.

yeah dont go prot, its boring and....lacluster I have one and regret it.
