EU+US New to bracket - Seeking Class Advice

Stam

Grandfathered
Hi all,

Long-time player/Tw1nker, first-time 101er. This is a bit of a read, so I appreciate, in advance, any responses.
I'm venturing into this bracket for the first time and just wanted to get a few opinions from regular bracket players about just how viable certain classes are. I'll list what classes I have (some already with their artifacts) and elaborate on what it is I want to achieve, or if I have any concerns about that class which experienced 101ers may be able to assist with. All characters below are 100.

Monk - Windwalker (former WoD main with Legendary ring)
DK - Blood
Warrior - Fury
Shaman - Enhance
Warlock
Rogue
Druid

I'm planning on building a leech-heavy set-up, regardless of which class I pick. My main aim is to be able to farm herbs/skinning & clear dungeons relatively fast but also be able to deal some pretty nifty damage and annihilate those wPvP scenarios that may occur. I value DPS more than mobility, just for the record. Also the need for survivability is desirable.

I've not read much on Windwalker, so I genuinely don't know what to expect. I'm roughly 730 at level 100 on my WW with a 750ish Legendary ring. Open to input.

Blood DK - I've seen how tanky these things are and that with leech + their mastery they're super hard to kill, but, I am concerned about their damage output.

Fury Warrior - The idea of Leech-Storming sounds good, but I have no idea about their overall output etc.

Enhance Shaman - If i had to pick a class I wasn't in favor of, it's this. I've heard they're INSANE single-target DPS when geared, but I'm not a fan of Enhances Legion changes. I am still open to input.

Warlock - Again, no clue, open to input.

Rogue - As above.

Druid - Now, Balance. I've heard it's great, and my main twink is a druid so I know my way around the class. Balance looks like it can do it all, but again I'm open to other specs and other input.

Any help in deciding would be great - I'm a bit lost with picking a class and don't want to spend the gold on the wrong one.

I currently have an 835 stam/haste ring + Leech & socket + the Strength trinket with leech + socket, so i'm in no rush.

Cheers :)

WW Monk, just coz of legendary.

I have a WW/BM monk at 102, a prot pally at 101 and had a Blood DK at the begining of Legion. Blood is truly amazing frankly. You just run and grab all the crap and AoE like a boss. With a leech set it must be ridiculous. I treid to go that route with my prot pally since I leveled the DK to 110 already. It just isnt satisfying sadly :(

If you're open to other options, I'd suggest to go with a Frost DK with a leech set. Reasons:
1. Because Frost DK's are awesome...good AOE DPS, and with a leech set you become more unkillable the more mobs you take on at once! In theory Frost DK can put out much more DPS than a similarly geared Blood DK.
2. Picking a plate class gives you more options of gear if you're trying to max out your ilvl, not to mention greater survivability for running dungeons.

However, I can also think of these negatives:
1. Less transmog options and less primary stat if you wear gear other than your class' default gear type (e.g. cloth, mail, leather, plate)
2. Low indoor mobility for Blood DKs.

Here's mine at ilvl 855:

I would have probably gone for FDK without hesitation had I not already gone and acquired the Blood Artifact in early Legion after getting annihilated in World PvP by a BDK on my main. Unfortunately, I can't justify the time (or alternative cost) expense in doubling-up on near-maxed level toons. Making a second DK just for this purpose wasn't going to happen. It must be noted - that's one nice DK you have there!

I've actually settled on Fury Warrior, purely because they seem to have quite reasonable damage for both single & AoE situations, plus their ability to use lesser quality armor types should I wish. I also wanted to use my warrior for something as it's not a class i'd ever consider for endgame ever again.

^ That's where I'm at. Acquired some lootz and will begin to clear the zones at a casual pace once.

Not having the artifact weapon sucks, but I'd just remind you that FDK can use the brewfest ilvl810 maces. You lose out on the traits, but they are higher white damage and give you some variance.

I'm the same way, not new to twinking but would be new to 101s. I got 2 lvl 100s I could turn into 101s, a warlock and demon hunter. I would be interested in specing vengeance on my DH and warlock is still yup in the air. Would be interested in any thoughts or opinions from players from this bracket. Thanks.

I'd say go WW, just cause of legendary ring and the chanse of getting the Soul cap trinket.
The numbers you can pull with theese 2 combined is insane :)

Here is my rogue with them both:

Hello Viby, i was looking for twink mostly for soloing dungeons and boost people , from wod i have rogue with soul cap , legendary ring ,kazzak leech trinket (mark of supreme doom) and archimonde class trinket . my main consern is should i play it assas or outlaw and what would be the best 2 trinket to use .

Outlaw or Sub if you have the archi class trinket. Increased damage > increased crit chance as a 101. I think outlaw is what you want though for run through, though I'd advise looking specifically at the ilvl of your archi class trinket and simulated numbers to check.

I have a 101 Arms War at 817 ilvl, but I kind of regret putting so much work in to it. I liked it at first, but now I feel like it's quite inferior compared to other classes. I do good single target damage, but not enough AoE to solo dungeons. I was thinking of taking it to 110, but I feel like that would be a bad idea. I feel kind of stuck. I'm not sure what to do, really.
