EU+US How to loot the necklaces more than once.

So I keep on getting asked, "How do you loot the boss more than once, it gives me the option to loot, but it's bugged out and it will NOT let me".

This is a very simple fix that will allow you to loot the boss EVERY single run. You will not get a neck every single run, but this way you're able to loot.

All you must do is either turn off your auto loot, never picking up the quest card he drops.

You may loot the quest every single run, however, you MUST delete the quest from your bags and from your quest log.

I didn't realize having the quest was a problem until the boss was 'lootable' but wouldn't let me loot.

I looted the item and completed the quest like an idiot. I still obtained 2 necklaces on my 5th and 7th kill.

I do get the loot bug and/or no loot at all at times, but the neck will eventually drop.

Oh, I did like 9 kills with 5 buggy loots while the quest was in my possession.
 
I had the Quest in my questlog from last year and I could loot it multiple times.

The issue doesn't seem to lie with the Quest being in your questlog, but rather the item being in your bag.
 
If the loot is bugged, it just mean there is no loot for you.
Cuz neckle didn't drop and you already completed the quest, No big deal here

Correct, and if you complete the quest you are screwed as well because it will make the bug occur too
 
While it has nothing to do with the drops, it's still annoying as each time you get hype for a good drop you get dissapointed by nothing :p
 
What have we determined from all this?
@Sponsor has completed the quest. Yet has received the necks and has gotten loot bugs.

@Hotpocketx Had the quest but no item in possession and still received loot bugs. Looting of necks unknown.

@Skrrt Same as Hotpocket.

@Mvq Had last year's quest (no item in bag unknown) and was able to loot neck multiple times.

In conclusion, we can determine that doing the quest you can still get neck and get bugs. Having the quest with no item still cause the loot bugs.
More data is needed.

I can't imagine how the quest iteself can screw up getting loot since it is an annual quest. Although, anything is possible.
This loot bug has been around since this event has been launched.

I didn't have any bugs today, having finished the quest. In like 30 runs.

That's becaus they seem to have added the colognes, heart candy, chocolates and love rockets as loot.
 
I personally tried it a few times today with the quest item in my bag. And did not get the loot bug. What I have found out though is you need to be the first to loot it. I do not know if that helps or not. Yesterday I encountered the loot bug if I let others loot first. That could have just been a coincidence.

haven't read any of this, i just know this. i looted everything on my first run, completed the quest. then didn't get a neck after that run, ran it about 7 more times and got nothing. went on about 7 other characters. never looted the quest and got a necklace about every other run or every run. (depending on how long i ran, seems i ran about 20-30 runs so far and have received a lot of loot)
