Hastan

Grandfathered
Hi everyone,

Obviously new here, read a lot since the past few days and thought to myself why not post and ask around!

I have been playing WoW casually for a few years. I am not the most knowledgeable person about the game but I always loved the PvP aspect of it. Played a 19 twink way before BoA was a thing and I had the urge of playing a twink again. A lot have changed since then so I was glad to find some guides to be up to date.

Now, I am looking for a guild. 19 or 29, that will be patient with me in helping me out if I have a few questions or just to gear up if needed. I've been playing Rogue (Also tank/healer) mainly but I am the kind of person that likes to try something new especially if it helps a guild to fill out a spot. I have no server preferences but I believe the party is in BH if I am correct. I would be quite active in-game and I can use any voice servers as well.

Thank you for reading and hopefully someone will give me a shot !

You've chosen the right realm of bh , there is plenty of twink guilds that are willing to help you out...just hang outside Orgrimmar you will see heaps dueling or just chilling. Turtle gang (19) is a big guild and welcome newcomers. Just go /who Turtle gang and you will be able to see some toons on and pst them. This is obviously the horde side not sure about alliance.

welcome!! if you lookin ally. district nineteen on bleeding hollow.
open invites.
very active guild.
and we fund everyone's first twink. please dont pick hunter tho! xD

Great, would anyone be able to contact me @ Hastan#1478 by any chance ? Thanks !!

from an EU point of view just reading these forums, if you want respect as a twink in the community district 19 isnt the guild for you.

I'd steer clear of Turtle Gang (H) and District Nineteen (A). They are both cesspool guilds who (in welcoming survival hunters/inviting them to premades) have no respect for the bracket and actively ruin it for their own personal gain (e-peen size)

I can see where you would say Turtle Gang runs a lot of survival. Yes, i will admit D19 does run some survival, but not nearly as much as Turtle Gang (no hate towards TG). But i've been online for the best 2 weeks and have not seen any many survival online as there were when i joined. And when we do guild wargames we usually don't have survival, when we do wargames against players on horde or another ally team, we don't like running survival. The thing we have where we fund your first twink in District 19 is true, but we don't fund hunter, druid, or mages to cut back on how many are in the bracket. But i will not let you say we run it for our own personal gain. I can tell you, wanting the bracket back to what it was is one thing D19 wants.

1. Running less than TGANG doesnt make you better than them. There are more horde twinks, ofc there will be more survs.
2. There is a decline in survivals recently because there has been a decline in twinks due to the new content patch. Im sure the ratio is the same.
3. Ofc you don't let survs in GUILD wargames. <personal gain>
4. I like that you guys don't fund survivals, it's a step in the right direction
5. If you want to help bring the bracket back, set up events that allow more than just your guild in. Help make sure that new players know that survival is NOT okay to play.

Number 5 is what i agree with the most, we've gotten about 15 new members and multiple wanted to make survival, but that was highly turned against.

how about you kick every hunter in your guild, unless they only play bm/mm

thats a step in the right direction

aside all the negativity D19 and TG are great for starters and the experienced and have no doubt helped the 19 twink community GROW! with open invites and funding and a ton of activity, when most other twink guilds are exclusive and require experience and BiS. yes we had a little problem with lower ranks running shitty comps in the past and you run into that problem with big guilds but like i said in my first comment strongly encourage no more surv hunters for the most part. =D

I'm not going to tell you where you should or shouldn't go, nor will I talk bad about other guilds in an open forum, no matter how I may feel about them. The important thing here is that you are a relatively new player who seems to have great interest in becoming a part of the twink community. I am the Guild Master of <TNPIA>, a twink guild on Ghostlands [A]. We have almost 200 members and we are very active. We are helpful and friendly and will make sure that you have everything you need, and will catch you up on everything you need to know in whatever bracket you choose to play in. We support all brackets in my guild, though we consist mostly of 19's, with a hand full of 29's, 70's, and 101's. We hold events of all kinds on a weekly basis, and have war games with each other to practice mechanics and working together as a team. We have a very strong core group of skilled players, but we do not mind taking the time to teach someone who is willing to learn. We will fund as many toons as you want to make, even a Survival Hunter if you so choose. The fact of the matter is, we do not run ridiculous premades with an army of Survival Hunters and Discipline Priests. You don't need that to win. We've faced teams running those comps before, using a normal comp, and have railroaded them. Skill and good team work will out every time.

I run a Discord server for the guild, which is also very active and is a necessity for any serious guild members. Here is the info in case you would like to come speak with us: https://discord.gg/KbmUeWb

Regardless of what you decide to do, I wish you the best of luck and hope you find your place in the twink community. We're glad to have you here!
