expanding queue nights?

the 8pm on a weeknight thing is in direct support of the soccer dads. You can queue earlier than 8pm and you might get a pop, but but working folks gotta get off work, transit home etc etc etc.

I live in Japan so it's like 8am on Thursday and I have work so I can't anyway, but that's the current reasoning. That and there were arenas going on before wednesday games previously.

I know many of you out there cant make 6pm start on a weeknights, but there are still many that can and even if you aren't there we can get games started early before you even have to come along at 8pm.

Like for me 6pm start is 6 am start, and for EU players its 11pm-12am start but if it starts earlier we go more games in, recently games haven't been making it past 12am, might as well start them earlier and finish earlier so you can all get to work/school next day

Honestly think the first step is to make Wednesday games start earlier like around 6 instead of 8, more games more fun :)

You do realize 6:00 is 5:00 and 4:00 for many parts of the country. Add in commute time, time to do IRL activities etc... That time becomes the time close to when we start now. Games are not going to start any earlier even if you schedule them earlier.

As far as solo queueing on PuG nights. We ALL should be solo queueing on PuG nights. Even when someone asks me to group with them I politely refuse. After all, we should be PuGging it. Not Premading...

I have already voiced my opinion in other threads why I think the 39 population has been getting smaller over the last few weeks. Despite others opinions that it is 'growing'. I think people's opinion in this thread parallel mine in that 39's are, in fact, losing players.

What a cheerful note to end on you tosser.
I'm not surprised that that we're losing playTIME (read, not players). The revival started near the end of summer. Since then, people have gone back to college, football kicked off, and various activities have started. I expect people to skip a night. Hell, I missed two Saturdays before last, and I'm missing tonight as well. Any time 39s fits my schedule, you better believe it's my favorite hobby. But we are in fact still growing the playerbase. New people show up on the forum and in-game every week. As premade activity gets moving and with the TC on the horizon, I expect a resurgence of interest.

Seriously, take your negativity and petulant behavior to another sub-forum. It isn't warranted nor appreciated.

I'm assuming you are referring to what you view as the overregulation of public games? I can only speak for myself ofc, but I would quit without a doubt if it were a free for all .When ferals were running around Fbing my shaman for 4.7k, or idiot guard-spamming BM monks were imperviously sitting on healers in the middle of the opposing team, it was a complete joke. This isn't old 39s sadly and some restrictions are required for it to be even playable. It really sounds like you want the bracket to die just so that you can be right. What's your toons name anyway? I'm not sure I've ever seen you play.

When is the megatron vs DimeBrew premade going down?

Apparently the wargames will be next weekend.

I am not leading a team. I beleive it was the livingforce challenge that was accepted.

2cents from an old bracket care bear-
The pug rules for bgs seem solid and necessary for enjoyment of all. The potential for a healthy bracket is there. Avoid over regulations and giving too much power to a singular or random rule breaker. Let the players in the game at hand deal with the riffraff. Allow the actual community support the rules in game. Two threads of multiple posts moaning, debating, power trips, doom, and gloom of the bracket as a whole is a turn off. You cross from fun forum slamming, activity, and drama to nails on a chalkboard(annoying as hell to most).

Premades are the football games with rules, penalties, playbook, refs, instant replays, and piss tests. Do your recruiting from pug games and truly penalize the rule breakers. Doesn't sound like you're there yet.

Pug games are like dodgeball the rules being boundary lines. If a player steps out in a game that team needs to nail him.....with balls to the face. You are there, you have a player base keep it fun.

As to this thread:
Arenas are a solid idea to encourage growth in. Personally they intimidated me but I was convinced to que some one night with friends and I felt I improved drastically as an individual with each one I qued. I soon looked forward to hopping in arenas. Start with guild organized que times. Down the road open it to the bracket. Put your experienced players with the new to bracket or new to class or if a player struggles against a certain class have him intentionally qued against that class. As gm 's watch your activity increase and teamwork build in the guild. As your guilds grow and desire to be premade worthy(players want to be worthy for a spot too)...they will do their own part in controlling those that step outside the community.
Happy birthday dont have a great time, and no I'm not coming back! I heard a dirty rumor my name made the cut for some silly shirt ....totally ordering one(thanks yoube, wish I'd had more time playing in the bracket honestly....I'll say it 39>29 sorry guys!) kudos guys for keeping things going, you seem to have a few good peeps too. Best of luck.

All my posts are ended on a cheerful note as opposed to yours telling people what to do.

Rest assured it is a healer. As all I do is play heals. DPS is not my style. I am a lover, not a fighter...

Thanks! But seriously, this is like when your SO tells you they have a surprise but won't tell what it is. Don't dangle your potential presence with no intention of joining us! We do only play Wed/Sat so it would be very hard to get wrapped up in a time commitment. I expect you may even have a 7 day WoD trial to test the waters ;)

I fear no child.
BTW, DDoSing is a Federal crime.

/cheers

Yes, of course it's a crime. It just seems like you are hesitant, probably due to your inflammatory posts, to reveal toons. I figure it's either a result of, A) A primal fear of the DDoS or B) A desire to avoid scrutiny while simultaneously feeling free to critique/condescend.
